Be Loud! Center for Young Adult Cancer Care at UNC

In November 2023, the Be Loud! Center for Young Adult Cancer Care opened at UNC, and it is one of the first outpatient infusion spaces in the country dedicated exclusively to adolescents and young adults. The space features seven outpatient infusion chairs in a beautiful environment with natural elements, including expansive windows that allow the sunshine to pour in. We are incredibly moved that UNC chose to honor the work we have all done together by naming this new space after our foundation and after Sophie’s poem: “Be Loud,” she wrote, “and move with grace, explode with light, have no fear.” Please watch this 90 second video about this remarkable space.
