Earlier this summer, Lauren Lux organized a daylong storytelling workshop for Skyler and 30 other patients, friends and family in partnership with Dear World. Out of these stories of hope, struggle and resilience came stunning portraits, by Dear World’s Jonah Evans, each of which is both amazingly personal and a tribute to the power of family and community. Dear World will soon officially release the photos, as well as a short documentary they made while they were with us.
