Chef/owner Kevin Callaghan had good reasons to celebrate last night because his Carrboro restaurant Acme was celebrating its 20th birthday. Lucy and Niklaus had had the good fortune of being at its opening in 1998, and Sophie was born soon after, so we’ve always had a great connection to his place. As part of his party, he donated proceeds to Be Loud! and he is offering a special dessert all year long for our benefit as well. Kevin epitomizes community!
